Location was great. Room was comfortable although no towel rail. It is not obvious on booking but the accommodation is spread over 3 properties near to each other. We were across the quiet road from the building where breakfast was served which meant it was quite. Breakfast was a set plate every morning so you knew what to expect plus tea & coffee.

The place is very clean and the owner of the hotel is a nice and humble person. As for the staff, they are very nice and helpful people, especially the girl who sits at the reception, Yuna, and Qadr and Atiya, the big man, and also Sherifa who serves clean and tidy food. I don’t know the rest of the names, but they are really nice... I found it to be the best hotel in the Sultanahmet area, and I don’t deny that there is a difference between the picture of the breakfast on the internet and the breakfast served, but in general it is clean and good. There is a comfortable beds and cooling. The price is very commensurate with the service. I took a shared room.

I liked how friendly the hosts were. They do their best to make their guests comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Location is amazing. Breakfast was good and it is Turkish breakfast.

The staff was amazing, people are lovely, you get to meet people from all over the world, what a great experience! I especially liked Nargiz who is a hard working lady, she does pretty much everything and take’s care of everyone and Mhmet is great too, all the staff are good

The staff were super friendly and kind, and always happy - Kay in particular was always helpful & has excellent English. Great breakfast. The rooms & bathroom are really really clean - this hostel has a superb cleaner! I was in the female dorm which is bright, spacious, nicely decorated & feels secure. The beds are comfy, & they have nice crisp white bed linen & warm duvets (perfect in winter).

Staying at Bucoleon by Cheers was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly and supportive staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The breakfast provided was simply amazing, offering a delicious start to each day of exploration. I cannot recommend this hostel highly enough – a solid 10/10! Not only is the hostel fantastic, but its prime location near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia makes it the perfect base for exploring Istanbul. Its accessibility adds to its charm, making it easy to navigate the city's sights and sounds. Overall, my experience at Bucoleon by Cheers was outstanding, and I would gladly return in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Istanbul!

I had a great stay at Bucoleon by Cheers hostel in Istanbul. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Sultanahmet district, just a short walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The hostel has a bar and a common area where guests can relax and socialize. The rooms are spacious and clean and there is a breakfast buffet served every morning. The staff at Bucoleon by Cheers are friendly and helpful, and they really go out of their way to make sure that guests have a good time. Jay, in particular, was great at organizing activities for everyone, and he always made sure that there was something to do. I would definitely recommend Bucoleon by Cheers hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Istanbul. It is a great value for the price, and the staff and facilities are top-notch.

Stayed here in 2019 and returned this year. The staff here are so very welcoming and friendly, they do everything they can to ensure you have a great stay. Rooms are clean and functional, location is excellent, price is reasonable. Good breakfast, cool bar to have a drink and meet other people in the evenings after a day out. Fully recommend staying here.

Murat (who worked reception during the day), was welcoming and would go out of his way to help you, whether it be something regarding your room, booking a tour, making your way round the city or even in my case trying to retrieve your phone from the taxi you left it in. He was willing to always do what he could to make your stay the best it could be. Jay (the nightly bartender), would always put in the extra effort to make the bar area an enjoyable, fun and social area to be each night. Encouraging games and hosting karaoke, making an environment where lone travelers could commingle. Jay himself also brought a great personality and energy to the bar and was incredibly easy to talk to and get along with. Would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The location was absolutely perfect and located in a nice area within walking distance to the blue mosque, aya sofia and the basilica cistern. Can absolutely recommend the hotel! Feedback
